Plain xrays after the third surgery.

The patient was discharged home the day of surgery. He had a lot of pain about 3 hours after surgery, after the supraclavicular block wore off. Over the next several days, the pain abated somewhat but he had the gradual development of dense median nerve anesthesia, but none in the ulnar or radial nerves. He was seen several times during this period, with the development of dense induration to the distal forearm and hand.
